The tires i have now are completely bald but i'm not too knowledgeable about cars and i don't know how to go about getting them (plus i don't want to get ripped off or coerced into buying something i don't need). Fisrt, if i go to a place like sears or firestone do i need an appointment (because i'd want them to install them too) or do i just show up? Also, what would a good tire be for driving in Houston? What are some reliable tires, etc? Basically, i'm completely clueless when it come to my car and need some feedback on tires.
